POONCH, June 27: Three health centres were found locked during surprise checking by a team of officials in Mendhar Sub Division of district Poonch today.
Official sources said that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Mohd Aijaz Asad, SDM Mendhar Dr Tanveer Ahmed sent a team of officials led by Tehsildar Poonch for inspection at various health centres today. They found three centres locked during the mid-day today.
These included, New Type Primary Health Centre Kas Baladi, Health Sub Centre Sangiot and Health Sub Centre Kandi Galuta. The team during inspections at Health Sub Centre Ghani found FMPHW, Sita Devi unauthorisedly absent from duty.
They reported the matter to SDM Mendhar, who has recommended the suspension of these employees to the Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, the official said.
