JAMMU, Oct 26: Gangyal police today arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 100 gram of heroin from their possession.
“A police party from police post during naka checking at Fountain Chowk intercepted one Alto Car bearing registration number JK02BG -3640 and on checking recovered 100 gram of heroin from the driver of the car namely Rubail Sharma alias Chintu son of Mansa Ram, resident of H No-37, Suraj Nagar, Talab Tillo Jammu and his associates namely Shiv Kumar son of Mohan Lal of Kabir Colony, Talab Tillo and Jaswinder Singh son of Jorawar Singh of Digiana Camp, Jammu,” a police official said.
He said all the accused were arrested and recovered heroin seized while a case FIR number 122/2019 under Section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act was registered against the accused at police station Gangyal.
The arrest and recovery was made by Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia, SHO, police station Gangyal and SI Ranjit Singh, Incharge, police post Greater Kailash under the close supervision of SDPO City South Jammu Deputy SP Ram Singh, SP South Vinay Kumar and over all supervision of SSP Jammu, Tajinder Singh.
