SAMBA, July 4: Samba police has arrested three drug peddlers today and recovered four grams of Heroin (Chitta) from them.
A police party of Police Station, Samba headed by Inspector, Shiv Dev Singh, SHO under the supervision of Deepak Digra, Dy.SP Headquarters, Samba while performing vehicle checking duty at Naka Daboh, Samba intercepted a scooty and motor cycle bearing Registration No. JK21B-1293 and JK02AD-6568 respectively.
During frisking of the scooty rider, motorcyclist and pillion rider a total of four grams of Heroin (Chitta) was recovered from the possession of three persons identified as Aman Singh, S/o Sanjay Singh of Langtha, Samba, Randeep Singh Jamwal, S/o Kuldeep Singh of Barian, Samba, Ravi Kumar, S/o Manohar Lal of Sunjwan, Samba.
The drug peddlers were arrested on the spot and contraband item along with their vehicles were also seized. In this regard a case FIR No. 143/2019 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Samba and investigation started.
