Srinagar, Oct 10: Police today arrested three drug peddlers and recovered contraband substance from their possession in Ashmuqam area of Anantnag district.
A police spokesman said that acting on specific information, police raided house of Mohammad Shareef Khatana at Reshikulbal village of Ashmuqam. “During search of the house, three kilograms of charas were recovered. Three persons namely Abdul Raheem Lone, Reyaz Ahmad Lone and Mohammad Shareef Khatana were arrested on the spot,” he said.
The spokesman said that a case under FIR number 42/2017 under Section 8/20 was registered and further investigation has been taken up.
