RAJOURI, July 12: Three persons were detained for their alleged involvement in encouraging the menace of drugs abuse in Thanamandi.
They were identified as Waqar Ahmed alias Tulli, son of Abdul Sattar of Raina Mohalla Thanamandi, Mohd Arif alias Raja, son of Mohd Azam of Saaj and Ishfaq Ahmed son of Mohd Sharief of Khanyalkote Thanamandi.
They were arrested under section 107/110/151 CrPC and after completing legal formalities, all the accused were sent to District Jail Dhangri on the order of Additional District Magistrate Rajouri.
A dossier for their detention was submitted by Police Station Thanamandi after which order for detention was issued by Executive Magistrate and Police team headed by SHO Thanamandi Nazir Ahmad Dar implemented the order of detention.
