Murder plot foiled

JAMMU, Feb 7: Pouni Chak Police foiled a murder plot with the arrest of three criminals along with sharp edged weapons.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pouni Chak Police Post laid a naka near Patta Bohri and signaled a motorcycle to stop for checking.
On seeing the cops, the rider accelerated the vehicle and tried to escape, but the cops chased and intercepted the motorcycle after a brief chase.
During checking, police team recovered three sharp edged weapons from the possession of three persons riding on the motorcycle and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Gulshan Kumar, son of Samporan Kumar of Dhai Chak, Vikram Singh, son of Parkash Singh of Akhnoor and Roshan Singh, son of Jai Singh of Dhai Chak.
With their arrest, a team from Pouni Chak Police Post foiled a murder plot.
A case under FIR Number 43/2020 under section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Pouni Chak Police Post SI Varuneshwar Singh foiled the murder plot and made the arrest under the supervision of incharge SHO Domana Inspector Parvez, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul, SP Rural Suram Singh and SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh.
