JAMMU, Mar 27: Police today rescued three bovine animals from Kanachack area of the winter capital, while the smugglers managed to escape.
A police spokesman said that, during naka checking at Kanachack, police intercepted a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK14C-0887.
During checking, police rescued three bovine animals, while the smugglers managed to escape from the spot.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Kanachack police station and manhunt has been launched to arrest the bovine smugglers.
However, no arrest has been made till late night.
