JAMMU, Nov 23: Police rescued three bovine animals and arrested two persons in Jourian area of tehsil Akhnoor.
As per police sources, during patrolling in Jourian area, police team intercepted a load carrier bearing registration number JK02BJ-7496.
During checking, police rescued three bovine animals and arrested three persons, who have been identified as Deepak Kumar alias Arjun, son of Ajeet Singh of Jourian, Bir Singh, son of Chamail Singh of Jourian and Vijay Kumar, son of Kaka Ram of Marchola, Sunderbani.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered against them and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge police post Jourian and SHO Akhoor Inspector Pushpinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhoor Naresh Singh, SP Rural Rajeev Pandey and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
