JAMMU, Nov 24: District Police Poonch has detained three notorious drug peddlers/suppliers under Public Safety Act (PSA).
They have been identified as Zabir Khan, son of Wazir Khan, resident of Buffliaz in Tehsil Surankote, Ashiq Khan, son of Ahmed Khan from Buffliaz and Abdul Rehman, son of Mohd Sadeeq hailing from Deri Dabsi in Tehsil Mendhar. They were involved in illegal activities in the district.
The detention warrants of all the above notorious criminals/ chronic drug peddlers have been meticulously executed by Police and its team under the supervision of SDPO Mendhar Zeeshan Bhat and SDPO Surankote Tanveer Jeelani and overall supervision of Rohit Baskotra (SSP) Poonch.
Baskotra said that Police is committed to serve the general public upto their desires to ensure sense of security among them and to maintain peace in the district.
