3 arrested for firing gun shots

JAMMU, Mar 16: Panjtirthi police arrested three youths for allegedly firing gun shots in the air outside Hari Niwas Palace here creating panic among people.
As per police sources, four youths, who were on their way out from the bar at Hari Niwas, fired gun shots in the air outside the hotel yesterday late night. Later they fled from the spot in an SUV and a motorcycle.
A case under FIR Number 39/19 under Section 366 RPC (endangering life or personal safety of others), 188 RPC (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 34 RPC (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) and 3/25 Arms Act was registered at Pacca Danga Police Station and hunt was launched to arrest the youths.
Police party led by Incharge Police Post Panjtirthi SI Vinod Sharma worked on different leads, tracked and arrested three of the accused, who have been identified as Ishant Raina, son of Omkar Nath Raina of Wazarat Road, Vivek Singh, son of Harbans Raj of Hazoori Bagh, Talab Tillo and Manik Nayat, son of Raj Kumar of Bari Brahmana.
The search for the fourth accused is currently underway.
