Srinagar, Jan 25: The 2G internet services that were restored in Kashmir this afternoon was snapped hours after the restoration.
After remaining shut for more than five months, 2G mobile internet services on post-paid as well as pre-paid cell phone services were restored in Kashmir this afternoon.
The mobile 2G services were briefly restored on Jio and Airtel networks this afternoon. However, they were snapped this evening again.
“It was a welcome step that internet was restored on cell phones but its snapping hours after its restoration is a cruel joke”, said Abdul Majid, a resident of Srinagar.
