299th Nirvana Diwas of Mata Roopbhawani celebrated with fervor

JAMMU, Jan 16: The 299th Nirvana Diwas of Mata Shree Roopbhawani who is known as incarnation of Goddess Durga by the devotees was celebrated with great religious fervor and gaiety today.
In this connection religious functions were held at Roopbhawani Temple Talab Tillo, Jammu. where a large number of devotees thronged to participate in the celebrations and pay obeisance to Mata.
Another function as held at Roopbhawani Temple, Sharda Colony Patoli Brahmana where also a large number of devotees paid obeisance to Mata and participated in the function.
The celebration at Roopbhawani Temple Talab Tillo started yesterday evening at 8.00 PM and continued whole night with reciting Vedic Mantras. The Hawan celebration was purely Vedic which is different from usual Hawans. Yajman on this occasion was B.L.Jalali. Religious Scholars attended the Hawan and C.M.Dhar, president, Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust addressed the devotees and gave breath taking speech on the philosophy and teaching of Mata.
J.K. Raina( Reshi ), general secretary of the Trust informed the devotees about the philontropic activities like medical aid, educational aid to the needy besides supporting society through Helpline Humanity NGO, Borderless Organisation NGO. He further advised that the Trust has gone digital by resorting to digital mode of donations, Live transmission of Bajan, Kirtan etc from the temple with its complete information at the temple website. He also advised about various programs at Chesmasahibi, Janambhoomi, Manigam, Waskur and Laar Toposthals of Mata Shree Roopbhawani.
Hawan concluded with distribution of Naveed to about more than 1000 devotees. All people appreciated the elaborate arrangements made under the supervision of I.M.Dhar and R.K.Dhar.
Hawan was also performed at Mata’s temple at Sharda Colony under the supervision of Avtar Krishan Dhar. The devotees were served with prashad after Puranhuti. The Bhajan -Kirtan and Samohik Aarti was also performed by the devotees.
