UDHAMPUR, Dec 26: 28 animals were charred to death as a house and an adjoining animal shed completely gutted in fire at village Chirdi in Chenani, here last night.
Even as there was no loss of human life, the entire house was gutted while four buffalos, four cows, six sheep and 14 goats were charred to death after the fire broke out in the house of Desh Raj, son of Gyan Chand.
Cause of fire could not be ascertained.
