JAMMU:
A group of 2500 pilgrims today left for the shrine of Mani Mehash from Bhaderwah tehsil of the mountainous Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir, for Chamba district in the neighbouring state of Himachal Pradesh.
The devotees will halt for night at village Bheja enroute to Mani Mahesh and then proceed towards the shrine.The yatra was seen off by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Bhaderwah, Mohammad Anwar Banday. For the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage, elaborate arrangement of security, drinking water and medicare facilities have been made by the administration, sources said here. (AGENCIES)
