SRINAGAR: As many as 25 employees of different Government departments were suspended for remaining absent from duties in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal.
An official spokesperson here this evening said Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today conducted surprise inspection of various offices of the district, including Public Health Engineering (PHE), Horticulture Development, Chief Animal Husbandry, Agriculture Training and other offices.
During the inspection, the DDC found most of the officers and sub-ordinate staff absent from duties at 1040 hrs, he said, adding that Mr Bhat directed for suspension of 25 officials with immediate effect. (AGENCIES)
