24 motorcycles seized for wrong parking on NH

SAMBA Mar 13: As a part of the campaign against illegal parking, Samba police during a drive against wrong parking seized 24 motorcycles today.
According to police, the campaign was carried out by Samba Police Station SHO, Suraj Singh Pathania under the supervision of DySP, Hqrs Tilak Raj Bhardwaj. It is worth mentioning that people were parking their two wheelers on the side of the National Highway and move to their offices due to which the road gets jammed, which leads to many accidents and traffic jam.

SHO Suraj Singh Pathania, asked the shopkeepers of Link Road not to put their vehicles in front of their shops and not to encroach the space in front of the shops to avert the traffic jam in the market. People have also made the same appeal to the shopkeepers that they should park their vehicles in the Kehli Mandi Ground.
While talking with media persons, DySP Hqrs, Tilak Raj Bhardwaj said that there will be no illegal parking along the side of the National Highway. Locals should park their motorcycles in the Kehli Mandi Ground. Otherwise the vehicles will be seized and challaned by the police.
