Capsule S.Compound offers prevention against COVID-19, claims Rahul Pharma

JAMMU, Mar 13: Rahul Pharma, Jammu today claimed that S.Compound capsule manufactured by it offers prevention against novel coronavirus (nCoV).
Addressing a press conference here today, Dr Virender Mahajan, Managing Director, Rahul Pharma, stated that there is a lot of fear and anxiety among the people about novel coronavirus but there is no need to worry much about it as Ayurveda has excellent medicines to prevent and also treat such viral infections.
He said S.Compound capsule, an Ayurveda researched medicine manufactured by Rahul Pharma Jammu for the treatment of arthritis is available across the globe for last four decades. As the drug was tried mainly on arthritis which itself is an auto immune disease, it not even cure arthritis but also increases the immunity of the body to fight arthritis in future.

Mahajan said that in view of safety measures and prevention from novel coronavirus, the people across the globe are advised to start taking 2 capsules of S.Compound daily with breakfast and also use the medicine for fumigation by opening 2 capsules and burning its powder after keeping it in an earthen pot in closed room.
He said capsule S.Compound stands approved by Government of India by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and is available in number of Government institutions. “Immunity is the only weapon to fight coronavirus, so everybody should make capsule S.Compound daily habit to boost his/her immunity,” he asserted.
Claiming that that lemon tea, ginger tea, lemon honey tea and mint tea act attack coronavirus, Dr Mahesh Chander Sharma, general secretary, Indigenous Medicines Organization (IMO), advised people to take these teas regularly to keep them away from coronavirus infection.
Dr KK Gandotra (president IMO and retired Deputy Director, ISM) and Dr Taran Singh (retired Medical Superintendent, Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Jammu) also spoke on the occasion.
