JAMMU, Dec 1: Miran Sahib police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ recovered 20 kilograms bhukki from a truck, here today.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib police station laid a naka and intercepted a truck.
During checking, police recovered 20 kilograms bhukki concealed in three bags from the truck, while the driver identified as Omkar Singh alias Pappu, a resident of Khour Deonian Miran Sahib escaped from the spot taking benefit of the darkness. The truck hass been seized
A case under FIR Number 177/16 under Section 8/15/29 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at police station Miran Sahib and manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Pawan Kumar seized the consignment under the supervision of SDPO RS PURA Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu Romesh Kotwal.
