2 Wild Life employees suspended

REASI, Dec 8: Deputy Commissioner, Reasi has placed two employees of the J&K Wild Life Department under suspension for being absent from duty.
The action was taken after an 8-year-old boy was attacked by a leopard in Mahore area last evening and taken away to the nearby forest. The villagers in panic contacted Forest and Wild Life staff for help. After no response, later they contacted SDM Mahore and the District administration, Reasi.
The Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Dr Sagar Dattatray Doifode suspended two employees of the WLD, field supervisor Mahore, Abdul Rashid and Helper Wali Mohd and directed Additional DC Reasi to hold an inquiry and submit the report.
Meanwhile, the half- eaten dead body of the minor boy -Rehmat Ali, son of Mohd Rafiq of village Kansooli in Mahore was recovered by the villagers from the nearby forest during massive search operation last midnight.
