NOWSHERA, May 7: Police seized two Tata Mobile vehicles loaded with half a dozen bovine animals and arrested four persons in this connection including trader from Nowshera area of district Rajouri during last night.
A police spokesman disclosed that during naka on Jammu-Rajouri highway last night, a police party led by SHO Nowshera Y P Jamwal, under the supervision of SDPO Pardeep Singh intercepted two mini- trucks bearing registration numbers JK-11/ 1114 and JK02AL/3458 and found six bovine animals loaded in these vehicles. They were moving towards Valley via Mughal road.
The police seized both the trucks along with animals and arrested all the four occupants including trader. The accused have been identified as Mohd Khaliq, son of Wazir Mohd, resident of Patrara, Mohd Yasin, son of Mohd Bashir, Khaliq Hussain, son of Mohd Latief and Ajit Kumar, son of Babu Ram, all residents of Patrara in Majakote. The police registered a case against them and started investigation.
