POONCH, June 9: The police seized two trucks loaded with 10 bovine animals and arrested four persons near Bafliaz on Mughal Road last night.
A senior police officer said that a police party led by SI Amit Katoch, Incharge police post Behramgalla under the supervision of SSP Poonch, J S Johar intercepted two trucks bearing registration No. JK12-5297 and JK02B/4245 at naka point on Mughal Road and found ten bovine animals being smuggled to Kashmir valley.
The police arrested all the four and registered a case against them. The trucks along with animals were seized. The accused are identified as Fazal Amin from Surankote, Imtiaz from Faizlabad, Ikhlaq Hussain from Surankote and Subash Chander from Bai Basti. Two of them are drivers of the vehicles.
