RAJOURI, Oct 29: The police arrested two thieves in Nowshera area of Rajouri and recovered stolen property from their possession.
A police spokesman said that a motorcycle bearing chasis number MBLCKR 041H was stolen and a complaint was lodged in Nowshera police vide FIR No. 203/2019 under Section 379 RPC.
Many suspects were rounded up during investigation of the case. During exercise a police investigation team headed by SHO Nowshera Inspr Fareed Ahmed and SDPO Nowshera Brijesh Sharma zeroed on a suspect identified as Mohammad Zubair, son of Mohammad Hussain resident of Jhullas Rajouri who confessed to his involvement in the crime.
The said accused confessed theft of the said motorcycle which was recovered from his possession.
Similarly, another thief identified as Aftab Ahmed, son of Mohammad Ashraf, resident of Rajal in Nowshera has been arrested for theft of a goat valuing Rs 15,000 and a case under relevant sections of law has been registered against the accused.
