SRINAGAR, Aug 5: The authorities today suspended two teachers from Chamkote, Karnah of Kupwara district after a video showing their absence from school during duty hours went viral.
In this regard, an order was issued by the ZEO, Chamkote stated: “A video regarding the late arrival of teacher of UPS Haridal went viral on Social Media. Undersigned visited UPS Haridal and after inspection, it was found that two teachers failed to attend the school well in time and arrived late in the school.”
Pending Enquiry into the matter, the orders said that the concerned officials are placed under suspension with immediate effect and the salary of the officials is kept withheld till inquiry completion.
The suspended teachers have been named, Ghulam Mustafa and Gulistan Fatima posted in UPS Harial.
