JAMMU, Dec 22: Two shopkeepers have been arrested under Gambling Act.
As per police sources, on specific information, teams from Panjtirthi and Chowk Chabutra Police Posts apprehended two shopkeepers under Gambling Act.
The arrested persons were identified as Rajesh Kohli, son of Joginder Mohan of Panjtirthi and Kuldeep Gupta, son of Gulu Ram, a resident of Pacca Danga.
Cases under FIR Numbers 155/2020 and 156/2020 under relevant Sections of Gambling Act have been registered against the arrested shopkeepers at Pacca Danga Police Station and investigation started.
Police teams led by Incharge Panjtirthi Police Post SI Vinod Kumar and Incharge Chowk Chabutra Police Post SI Deepak Thakur made the arrests.
