KATRA, June 5: In separate cases, two elderly pilgrims died here today, apparently because of cardiac arrest.
A male pilgrim, namely Deendayal Gupta (64), son of Jyoti Parkash Gupta of Nandpuri Sarai, Rohilla Delhi, fell unconscious near Himkoti and was shifted to nearby dispensary where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Meanwhile, a female pilgrim, namely Rajeshwri Devi (65), wife of Gulab Singh Negi of Raj Bala Prem Nagar Dehradhun, fell unconscious near Gate No. 3 from where she was shifted to dispensary Bhawan. However, doctors declared her as brought dead.
