2 officers sent on deputation to Ladakh, 2 others recalled

JAMMU, Oct 25: Government of Jammu & Kashmir today recalled two JKAS officers from the Union Territory of Ladakh and placed services of two other JKAS officers at the disposal of UT Ladakh, on deputation basis.
According to an order in this regard, Anil Koul, Director, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Ladakh Division, headquarters at Kargil and Mohammad Mumtaz, Director, School Education, Ladakh Division Headquartered at Kargil, have been recalled from Union Territory of Ladakh to the UT of J&K.
Consequent upon this, the services of Mohammad Nazir Sheikh, Special Secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Kapil Sharma, awaiting orders of adjustment in GAD, have been placed at the disposal of UT of Ladakh, on deputation basis, with immediate effect.
They shall report to the General Administration Department (GAD), UT of Ladakh for further posting. The deputation of these two officers shall be for a period of two years or till final allocation is made in terms of Section 89(2) of J&K re-organization Act, 2019, whichever is earlier.
