RAJOURI, Oct 25: Two villagers hailing from Budhal area of Rajouri district are missing after heavy snowfall in Pir Panjal area.
Sources said that as per report of Sarpanch, Panchayat Halqa Targain in Budhal, two persons namely- Javid Shah (23), son of Hanif Shah, resident of Targain and Khadam Shah, son of Mazamil Shah , resident of Hassote in Chasana area of Reasi and at present, Targain, purchased some Sheep in order to sell them in Kashmir.
They left from Targain 0n Oct 22, 2021 via Pir Panjal on-foot. During the intervening night of Oct 22/23, heavy rain and snowfall took place in the entire region which effected entire Pir Panjal belt. Both the said persons neither reached to the destination (Shopian), nor return home. There is no clew about them. In this regard a police party from Budhal Police Station along with some locals/ family members left in search of them. They are still missing.
