KATHUA, June 25: Police in Kathua have traced out two missing ladies and reunited them with family members.
Police said on December 30 in the year 2020 a missing report was lodged at Police Station (PS) Kathua by one Daleep Kumar, resident of Nanak Chak, tehsil and district Kathua stating therein that his daughter namely Shivani Devi is missing. Accordingly a missing report was lodged at PS Kathua and search was started to trace her. Acting on the same, the missing lady was traced out yesterday and immediately handed over to her legal heirs after completion of all legal formalities.
While in another instance other missing lady namely Matua Devi daughter of Rana Pratap of Muthhi Baba, tehsil Nagri had been traced out by Kathua police who had been missing from CTM Kathua since 03.04.2021 and handed over to her legal heirs after completion of all legal formalities.
The search was conducted under the supervision of SSP Kathua, R C Kotwal.
