Bovines smuggling bid foiled, one arrested

JAMMU, June 25: Jhajjar Kotli Police foiled a bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 10 cattle and arresting one person.
As per police sources, during checking at Suketar a team from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02W-3165.
During checking, police team rescued 10 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was identified as Mohammad Arif, a resident of District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 109/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
The arrest was made by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Devinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh.
