SAMBA, Aug 16: Two persons died in a tragic road mishap in Vijaypur late tonight after their motorcycle skidded of the road and fell into a nullah adjoining the road.
As per reports, the accident took place at about 9 pm when two persons including one youth Ashu Choudhary , 33 driving the bike lost the control on the two wheeler and it skidded off the road and fell into the nallah near by. Both motorcyclist and his pillion rider -a 11 year old boy Harman Singh who happens to be his nephew died on the spot.
The duo were on way to Vijaypur market on Royal Enfield bearing registration number JK02CE0904 from Channi Manhansan Vijaypur after reaching near Ravi Dass temple they fell into a nallah resulting into the death of the two.
Their bodies were removed to Vijaypur Hospital. The Vijaypur Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
