SRINAGAR, June 19: Two persons including a minor were killed and two others injured in different road accidents across the Valley today, police said.
A boy, Javaid Ahmad Tedwa, 6, son of Mehraj-u-din of Gund, Ganderbal was hit by an unknown vehicle at Gund. Ahmad was injured and shifted to SKIMS Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries.
In another accident, Manzoor Ahmad Dar, 18, son of Mohammad Subhan of Soura, Uri, was killed when hit by a bus (JK05A/6157) at Guchawala, Nambal.
An army vehicle hit and injured Mohammad Rafiq Lone son of Ghulam Nabi and Shahzad Rashid son of Abdul Rashid of Kehnoosa, Bandipora at Keema. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment, police said.
In a collision between a motorcycle (Dl85NB/8876) and a tipper (JK01A/4397) on K.P road, Anantnag, near Al-Sarvat school, both the motorcyclist and the driver of the tipper were injured. They were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Anantnag, for treatment, police said.
