SRINAGAR, Aug 28: Two persons have died while another was injured in separate road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said Shezan Rashid son of Abdul Rashid Chowdary of Rainawari who was injured in a road accident on Tuesday at Master Pro Engineering College Srinagar succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura, Srinagar.
A Tipper JK02R/2286 hit a pedestrian Fayaz Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Ahad Mir resident of Gutlibagh, Ganderbal at Narayanar in Sumbal, Bandipora, resulting in his on spot death.
In another road accident, a motorcycle PB08AQ/3924 driven by Bilal Ahmad Rather son of Ghulam Ahmad Rather of Anawan Kralgund collided with a Tata 407 Mini passenger bus JK05/2872 at Nihama in Kralgund, Kupwara, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. He was shifted to hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidents.
