JAMMU, Apr 7: A teenager among two children got injured when a shell exploded in Sunjuwan area today.
Police said, the children this evening found a shell while playing in a nearby field, few meters short of their house and started fiddling with it.
Sources said that the shell suddenly exploded injuring the children.
The injured were identified as Saddam Hussain (16) and Abdul Kalam (8), both residents of Sunjuwan. They were immediately shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu. The injured are responding to the treatment when last reports came in.
The Sunjuwan police is investigating the case.
