SRINAGAR, Apr 7: A woman was killed, while a man was injured in two separate road accidents in Anantnag district on Sunday evening.
A police spokesman said the woman, Mumtaza Begum wife of Mohammad Ayub Wani of Anchidoora was injured when she fell from the motorcycle, JK03-9726, at K.P Road near Alsarwat Hospital.
She was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag where she succumbed to her injuries, the spokesman said.
An unknown Auto hit and injured Bilal Ahmad Khan son of Sonaullah of Chree at Danwath, Kokernag in Anantnag district.
The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment, the spokesman said, adding police has registered cases in these accidents.
