Srinagar, Feb 11: Two persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Kupwara district of North Kashmir.
A police spokesman said an I-10 vehicle bearing registration number JK09A-2552 collided with Figo car bearing registration number JK01P-3499 along National Highway near Bumhama in the district, resulting in injuries to a lady identified as Syeda Begum who was travelling in I-10 vehicle.
“The injured lady was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment,” he said.
The spokesman said in another mishap an Alto car bearing registration number JK09A-1897 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Ghulam Hassan Mir near Rawathpora in Kralpora area of the district. “The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kralapora where from he has been referred to Srinagar for further treatment. Police have registered cases regarding these accidents,” he added.
