SAMBA, Nov 17: Two boys were injured their motorcycle skidded off the road on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway near Devak bridge Vijaypur in district Samba this morning.
Vijaypur Police reached the spot and rushed both the injured to Government Emergency Hospital Vijaypur from where the doctors referred both of them to GMC Hospital Jammu watching their critical conditions. The injured were identified as Reenam, 17, son of Suresh residents of Sainik Colony Jammu while the second seriously injured boy who was approximately 18 years old was not identified.
Vijaypur Police said four youth, two each were travelling on two motorcycles. They were in high speed and started a race competition on National Highway. In their bid to overpower another motorcycle one motorcycle skidded off the road while the second two youth on motorcycle returned and lifted only the motorcycle leaving both the injured in a pool of blood.
Vijaypur Police is on the look out for the another two youth who fled from the spot and ahs launched a manhunt for the same.
