2 injured in mishaps

SRINAGAR, Aug 30: Police today said that two persons were injured in two separate road accidents in the Valley.
A police spokesman said that a girl namely Tehmeena Akhter fell from a motorcycle and got injured at Yousmarg area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district. “The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman said.
He said an Indica vehicle bearing registration number JK004/9959 driven by Shabir Ahmad Peer hit and injured a pedestrian namely Ghulam Nabi at Tangdar Bazaar in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. “The injured was shifted to Bone & Joint Hospital Barzulla for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the police spokesman added.
