RAJOURI, Apr 9: The police has arrested two youth for making attempt to break J&K Bank ATM and stealing cash from there at Budhal town of Rajouri district.
The thieves despite causing extensive damage to the ATM on the intervening night of April 7-8 failed to take away the money from ATM. But in the morning, when the news of the theft attempt spread in the area, a scare was crrated in the town.
The police party led by SHO Budhal, Insp Mustaj Choudhary came into action and managed to trade and arrest two boys who had tried to break ATM.
The arrested accused were identified as Mohammad Farooq, son of Mohammad Ayub and Mohammad Aziz, son of Mohammad Ismail, both residents of Dandot village in Budhal.
SHO said that an FIR No. 29/ 2021 has been registered in this connection and further investigation was in propgress.
