SAMBA, Sept 2: Two Gujjars were attacked by a rival group due to old enmity at Rakh Barotian area falling in Police Station (PS) Vijaypur today with sharp edged weapons inflicting injuries on them.
As per reports, one group of Gujjars attacked two members of their community with sharp edged weapons and kidnapped them to Barian village.
Taking cognisance of the matter, the incharge Police Post Supwal shifted the duo to Vijaypur Hospital where from they were shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment.
The police has registered a case FIR No.156/22 U/S 307/364/323/147/148 IPC dated 02/09/22 has been registered at PS Bari Brahmana on the basis of complaint filed by Simpi W/o Mansu of Balol Khad against Nazir, Fareed, Sheedu sons of Lal Hussain, Kamu, Bagh Hussain sons of Sheedu, Paa son of Nooru, Zakir, Golu sons of Dau, Bamu son of Kolu, Shadu, Paku sons of Kalu of Rakh Barotian ,Lahu son of Naru, Sarju son of Naru, Roshan, Mani ,Liyaqat,Joru,Muradu,Teg,Ali, Simu.
As per the case history a scuffle took place when Zakir Hussain, son of Said Ali and Siraj Din, son of Ali Hussain were on their way to cut the grass when they were stopped by the other group of persons from Rakh Barotian area falling in PS Vijaypur because of an old enmity as one of the girl of Rakh Barotian was kidnapped by the duo sometimes back and the assault was launched today to take the revenge. Afterwards attacking with sharp edged weapons, they kidnapped them to Barian village.
It is further mentioned that one of the brothers of Siraj Din is already booked under 376 IPC.
