SRINAGAR, Mar 29: Three persons including two girls tried to commit suicide in Budgam, Kupwara and Ganderbal districts today.
A Police spokesman said in Budgam district, one girl (name withheld),a resident of Beerwah consumed some poisonous substance at her home and was shifted to JVC Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
Another girl (name withheld), a resident of Kupwara consumed some poisonous substance at her home and was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment where from she has been shifted to SKIMS Srinagar for further treatment.
In Ganderbal district, a youth (name withheld), a resident of Manasbal consumed some poisonous substance at his home and was shifted to JVC Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
In all the cases, police has registered cases in the respective police stations and started further investigation.
