RAJOURI, Aug 13: The police foiled a drugs smuggling bid in Manjakote area and arrested two peddlers along with some quantity of charas today.
Official sources said that a police team from Manjakote headed by Station House Officer Pankaj Sharma under supervision of SDPO Nissar Khoja , during patrolling at Katarmal Morh noticed two persons moving under suspicious condition. They tried to ran away after seeing cops.
The police party intercepted and apprehended both persons and on their search, 80 grams of Charas was recovered from them. A case FIR No. 125/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in Manjakote Police Station against them and investigation was launched.
