POONCH, Mar 31: Continuing it’s drive against drug- peddlers, Police arrested two narcotic peddlers and recovered some quantity of heroin from their possession last evening.
Identified as Waqar Ahmedm, son of Abdul Qayoom from Banola,Mendhar and Ajaz Bashir, son of Bashir Ahmed from Chak Banola, the police team recovered 3.36 grams and 3.26 grams of heroin from them, official sources said.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 56/2023 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Mendhar Police Station and investigation of the case has been taken up.
The team headed by Insp Nayaz SHO Mendhar Assisted by PSI Simranjeet and PSI Sushil under the supervision of SDPO Mendhar Sheezan Bhat made the recovery.
