2 drug peddlers arrested with heroin, cash

JAMMU, Feb 24: Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered heroin and cash from their possession.
As per police sources, a joint team from Bahu Fort Police Station and Narwal Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02BR-8812.
During checking, police team recovered 16 grams heroin and Rs 42,000 cash from the possession of the driver and his associate and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Partap Singh, son of Gurdeep Singh of Sainik Colony Jammu and Gagan Deep Singh, son of Paramjeet Singh of Camp Gole Gujral Talab Tillo Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 68/2020 under section 8/21/22 NDPS has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Bishnesh Kumar and assisted by Incharge Police Post Inspector Khyati Maan Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Rajinder Kumar Rahi and SP South Vinay Sharma.
