JAMMU, Dec 28: Bakshi Nagar police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered heroin from their possession.
As per police sources, a team from Bakshi Nagar Police Station during checking intercepted a scooty.
During checking, police team recovered 10 grams heroin from the possession of two persons riding on the vehicle and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Sahil Malik alias Nanu, son of Muneer Ahmed of Newplots, District Jammu and Abhishek Gupta, son of Krishan of Dhar Road, Sailan Talab, District Udhampur. Sahil was also arrested in 2017 and 2018 in drugs peddling cases.
A case under FIR Number 219/19 under Section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
