2 drug peddlers arrested with intoxicant injections

JAMMU, Apr 23: Sidhra police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested two drug peddlers and recovered large quantity of intoxicant injections from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Sidhra Police Post laid a naka at Bajalta Morh and intercepted a Hyundai car bearing registration number JK02BX-7999.
During checking, police recovered 369 intoxicant injections from the possession of two persons traveling in the car and arrested them.
The arrested persons have been identified as Gafoor Hussain, son of Rasheed Ali and Sethi Kumar, son of Girdari Lal, both residents of Asrarabad Sidhra.
A case under FIR Number 92/18 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and further investigation of the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Sidhra Police Post SI Shariq Bhat made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Nagrota Inspector Bushan Singh Manhas, SDPO Nagrota, Yashbir Singh Slathia, SP Rural Shivdeep Singh and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
