Srinagar, Nov 19: Two persons died while six others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a Sumo JK05D/ 2127 hit and injured Abdul Rashid Qureshi son of Habibullah at Nambla Uri. He was shifted to District Hospital, Baramulla where he succumbed to his injuries.
Another Sumo JK05B/7233 hit and injured Kadam Din of Salotri Poonch at Chandiloora, Tangmarg. He was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries.
Three school children were injured when the two school buses JK01D/2816 and JK04A/9651 they were travelling in collided at Wusan, Ganderbal. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, two persons were injured when a Tavera JK05C/9361 met with an accident at Challaw in Boniyar. The injured were shifted to District Hospital, Baramulla for treatment.
Police said cases have been registered in these accidents.
