RAJOURI, Nov 26: In order to provide a platform for researchers, academicians, people from the industry and students for exchange of ideas in the area of Computer Science and Information Technology, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University in collaboration of Government of India and University Grants Commission kicked off 2 day National Conference in which experts and scholars from many Universities of India are participating and presenting their research papers on recent innovations and advancement in Information Technology.
Inaugurated by Vice Chancellor of BGSBU, Prof Irshad Ahmed Hamal at the University Conference Hall, the National Conference was organised by Post Graduate Department of Information Technologies in collaboration with PG Department of Computer Sciences. The Conference was supported by Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) of India, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, Department of IT, Ministry of Communications & IT, GoI and University Grants Commission.This conference has brought together researchers and practitioners to deliberate upon the algorithmic, systemic, applied, social, and educational aspects of Information technologies.
On the first day of Conference, Vice Chancellor Prof Irshad Ahmed Hamal inaugurated the Conference in presence of Dean Academic Affairs Prof AK Koul, Dean of Mathematical Sciences & Engineering Prof Mohammad Asghar, Controller Examination Mohammad Ishaq, Principal Polytechnic Col KK Dogra, Special Secretary to Vice Chancellor Suneet Gupta, Chair Professor of Mahatma Gandhi Chair for Ecology and Environment Prof GH Dar and HoD Management Studies Prof SK Gupta besides other officers, faculty members, staff, students and scholars from various Universities.
In the inaugural session, Prof Vijay Singh Rathore of Rajasthan presented keynote address while Dr Mohammad Abulaish of Jamia Milia Islamia presented talk on the topic. In the 2nd technical session, Dr Rashid Ali of Aligarh Muslim University presented talk on innovations in Information Technology. Department publication was also released on the occasion.
