SAMBA, Dec 27: Two cops died in an accident, when their motorcycle was hit by an unknown truck near Shah Blode area, here this evening.
As per police sources, two Selection Grade Constables identified as Mohammad Younis, son of Ali Mohammad of Birpur, Bari Brahmana and Arvind Kumar, son of Om Parkash of Bela District Doda got seriously injured, when their motorcycle was hit by an unknown truck near Shah Blode area.
The profusely bleeding cops were rushed to District Hospital Samba, where doctors declared them as brought dead.
The bodies of the victims have been shifted to the mortuary of District Hospital Samba for autopsy, which will be conducted tomorrow.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Samba police station and investigation started.
