UDHAMPUR, Sept 24: In separate incidents, two persons consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances.
According to the police, one Yash Pul son of Sham Lal of village Muthi Udhampur attempted suicide by consuming some poisons substance at his home last night. Family members took him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Jammu.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained.
In another case, a young housewife identified as Kailaso wife of Balwant Singh, consumed some poisonous substance at her house in village Pklai in Udhampur. She was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur and her condition was stated to be stable.
Police has registered the case and started investigation.
