RAJOURI, June 24: The Police today arrested two bootleggers who were smuggling liquor towards Doongi area of Rajouri.
The liquor was being smuggled in a car (JK11B-6575), which was on way from Rajouri towards Kallar. A Police team intercepted the car during routine naka checking at Salani bridge and recovered 37 bottles of liquor having 180 ml capacity and 14 bottles having one litre capacity each.
The arrested accuseds were identified as Sanjay Kumar of Mehari Manyalan village of Rajouri and Mohammad Razaq of Dhara Sanwla village. A case , FIR number 210/2020, U/S 48(a) Excise Act, has been registered in this connection at Police Station Rajouri.
